Pullman Standard F85B piggyback flatcar in Trailer Train 1970s yellow, weathered.

HISTORY

Pullman Standard F85B 85' flatcars were delivered in PRR influenced Trailer Train "oxide red" paint. Starting in 1970, Trailer Train started using "safety yellow" on their equipment. F85B flatcars in the railcar-pool started receiving the yellow paint, and remained in revenue service throughout the 1980s. The 85' flatcar continued to remain in service following the wide-adoption of the 45' long trailer for piggyback.
